About Gift Cards

  • Buying a Gift Card
    • Treat friends and family to a slice of discount designer heaven with a THE OUTNET e-Gift Card. These chic little e-Gift Cards are delivered straight to their inbox wherever they are in the world.

      You can buy an e-Gift Card in US Dollars (USD). Simply follow the instructions below:

      • Choose how much you would like to give.
      • Add the recipient's name, email address and a personal message (optional).
      • The e-Gift Card will be emailed to the recipient and a delivery receipt will be emailed to you.
      • Please note that an e-Gift Card cannot be purchased using a promotional offer.

  • How to Redeem a Gift Card
    • If you haven't done so already, please register for an account at THE OUTNET. Then sign in, select My Account and under My Gift Credit enter your gift credit code. Alternatively, you can redeem your gift credit on the payment page when making your purchase. Your gift credit amount will be automatically deducted as payment on your next order.

      Please note:

      • Sales tax and shipping is applicable on any products purchased with gift credit from THE OUTNET.
      • If your gift credit exceeds the total order amount, the remaining balance will automatically be credited to your account.
      • If your order exceeds the value of the gift credit and you have existing store credit on your account, this will automatically be redeemed to cover the remaining balance.
      • All remaining balances exceeding the value of your gift credit or store credit must be paid by credit or debit card.
      • You can check your balance and full details of each credit and debit that you have made by signing in, selecting My Account and then My Gift Credit.

      Once you have added an e-Gift Card to your account, the credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • Gift Card Delivery
      • An e-Gift Card will be emailed to the recipient.
      • A delivery notification will be emailed to you for your reference.
      • The e-Gift Card will arrive as soon as we have processed your order and taken payment.
  • Returns
      • e-Gift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
      • All returned items that were paid for with a gift card will be refunded as a store credit to your account at THE OUTNET for you to use against a future purchase.
      • If you return an item paid by both e-Gift Card and credit card, you will be refunded on your credit card up to the amount of your initial card payment and the remaining amount will be refunded as store credit.

  • Website security
    • To make sure your gift purchases are safe and secure, we use an extra measure known as a Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart, or CAPTCHA. This lets us know that you are a person placing an order. You will need to enter the words exactly as they appear into the box next to them to continue with your payment.

      Helpful hints: When entering the words into the box, use a space between each word if there is more than one word, and then click submit. If you prefer, you can also hear the words spoken - simply click on the speaker symbol.
