Payment & Security

  • Payment & Security
    • THE OUTNET accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit, Visa Delta Electron, and JCB cards.

  • Faster Shopping
    • To make shopping at THE OUTNET even quicker, we will securely store your credit card details if you are a registered customer. So the next time you snap up a bargain you can act fast and place your order without having to re-enter all your details.

Your full card details will never be displayed, only the last four digits so that you know which of your cards you are using. You can also delete your card details and add new card details on the payment page if you would prefer to use an alternative card.

For increased security, if you change or add a new address you will be prompted to re-enter your card details. This means that if someone guesses your password and tries to place an order using your account, they will be unable to do so to any address other than those you have already saved.

For more information, please refer to our Terms and conditions.

  • Payment Security
    • To give our customers even more confidence in shopping online with THE OUTNET, we've introduced MasterCard® SecureCodeTM. This protects your existing card account from unauthorized use every time you shop with us.

To use this service simply register with your bank first or other organization that issued your card. To find out more, please visit the MasterCard® SecureCode website.

Once you have registered and created your own private password with your card issuer, you'll be automatically prompted at checkout to provide this password every time you place an order. This means that even if someone knows your debit card number, they will be unable to complete a purchase without your private password.

  • Website Security
    • THE OUTNET uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to make your shopping experience safe and secure. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled, you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out more information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser, it begins with 'https:' instead of the normal 'http:'. This means that you are in secure mode.

THE OUTNET is also registered with Cybertrust as an authentic site. This ensures that your information is kept private while in transit between your web browser and our web server.
