Jenny Packham Bridal Collection Interview
THE OUTNET X JENNY PACKHAM BRIDAL
Unveiling our capsule in collaboration with bridal and womenswear designer, Jenny Packham. Featuring meticulously embellished bridal gowns, romantic tulle wedding dresses and glamorous dancefloor-ready minis, this collection is designed to dazzle the new era of brides-to-be.

The iconic design house was founded in 1988 with the intention to revolutionize the bridal industry. Recognized for fusing Hollywood glamour with contemporary cuts, Packham adores blurring the lines between traditional bridal attire and distinctly modern dresses. THE OUTNET x Jenny Packham collection stays true to the British brand’s signature style and the influential woman leading it. We caught up with the designer to discover what inspired this whimsical capsule.

Tell us about how your collaboration with THE OUTNET came about, and why this opportunity excited you?Â
Bridal fashions are evolving and brides are changing the way in which they shop, given the nature of wedding planning over the last year. This collaborative edit of our bridal dresses is an exciting response to a new era of bridal fashions.
Can you share what your vision was for the collection and how you came to choose these silhouettes?
The silhouettes are some of the most contemporary styles I have ever designed. Wedding dresses will now become more reflective of the current fashion trends, rather than looking to the past for inspiration, as the need to live in the moment has never felt so desirable. Â
Which are your favorite pieces and why?
I haven’t made up my mind yet and I am excited to see which styles the brides love. Although ‘Wild Orchid’, with its pearl and crystal beadwork and tulip sleeve, will be a great little Town Hall ceremony style or a second dress to slip into for dancing.Â
How would you describe the Jenny Packham bride?Â
A fashion-forward woman with great taste and a very romantic Pinterest board.
How do you think the past year has changed the way brides’ shop for their wedding dress - do you think their behavior has changed as we enter a post-lockdown world?
Brides have been both resilient and patient in the past year. The reward is that there is so much more to celebrate — not only being together but the undefeatable power of love. Shopping trends may have transformed but the bride’s enthusiasm to find ‘that’ dress is eternal.
