Do you have a typical work day?
No, one of the things I love about my job is the variety. No two days are the same. Some days, I’m office bound, pouring over spreadsheets. Other days, we’re hosting clients at fabulous events, shooting or being entertained.
Do you think what you wear impacts how you perform at work?
Yes, definitely. My mother always told me when I was younger, that it’s important to look the way you want to be received. For me, that means looking professional, polished and prepared but also showing my personality. In addition, clothes really affect the way you feel and therefore, affects one’s mindset, productivity and how we interact with others.
How do you incorporate your personal style into your workwear?
Luckily, working at Vogue, we don’t have any sort of uniform. We really wear reflections of our own taste and, to some extent, our responsibilities. My style on Monday may be very different to what I choose to wear by Friday depending on my vibe and diary.
Do you feel pressure to be dressed in high fashion labels at Vogue?
Not at all. I always believe that style is more important than fashion. Of course, I’m very lucky to be able to access high fashion labels, but I love to mix them with smaller brands and high street, as well.
