Summer beach vacations call for swimwear, obviously, and we’re a big fan of Aimee’s approach to packing them: "Swimsuits don’t take up that much space so I always say pack the more the merrier”.

"I love high waisted bikinis because I find them so flattering and kind of like Old Hollywood."

A Song of Styling tip? "I like a neutral cover up because it works with any type of swimwear, whether you’re wearing a pattern bathing suit, high waisted bikini or just a one-piece swimsuit.” And voilà!

It’s so easy to overpack a sea of summer dresses that you’ll never wear, but Aimee’s best tip is to plan ahead and opt for multi-tasking styles that seamlessly transition from dawn to dusk through clever styling:

“You can take a slip dress cause they’re really easy and really light, and actually doesn’t take up much space. You can just wear it as a slip dress with a white button down, super easy to style, and then you take that white button moment off and the slip comes out at night”

When choosing which shoes to bring, pick styles that are comfortable enough for a spot of sightseeing, yet versatile aplenty for a night out: “I love sandals with chunky block heels that give you a tiny bit of height so you’re not too short and you still elongate your legs”.  

Or, wedges are also a go-to as, “they’re just much more comfortable” to walk in… “Invest in wedges, you’ll get so much use out of all of these!”

Unsure which color to invest in? Aimee’s penchant for red sandals that “work with so many different outfits” may help to guide you towards adding a pop of color.
